go to your browser and type in "mortgage calculator" I like these sites because it allows you to add extra money each month to see how quickly you could pay off your loan.. you DO need to know the interest rate though or at least have a pretty good idea of what it would be. Good luck and have fun… The only thing that determines your interest rate is your credit score and the prime rate. you cannot determine your interest rate on your own. that’s why it would be in your best interest to get more than one loan offer.
Is there an online calculator to determine interest rate if you know loan amt, term and payment amount?

JUST TYPE IN LOANS ON THE WEB AND U WILL GET A PLACE CALLED MONEYSUPERMARKET(I THINK IT IS) AND PUT UR DETAILS IN THERE AND IT WILL BRING UP LOTS OF DIFFERANT COMPANIES AND THE RATES THEY CHARGE PLUS THE MONTHLY FEE`S U HAVE TO PAY BACK.
AND IT DOESNT LEAVE ANYTHING ON UR CREDIT RECORDS.
THIS CAN ONLY BE FOR UK COMPANIES THOUGH.

Microsoft Office Users: There is also a simple one using Excel. If you select "New Office Document" and then go to Spreadsheet Solutions, you will see loan amoritization schedule.
This one works great and is easy to use.

Your answer should be located on your original loan paperwork to see your current rate. If you want to know what affect a lower rate would have or to calculate your payments at a different rate try checking http://jonesboroinfo.net/Banks they have a loan calculator there thats free to use and will figure all this for you. Hope this helps.
