loan modification, somebody done before, what company choose?

have hurt time to pay my house bills, a lot of "loan officers"call me, some of them want money and then promise to help me, I don’t wanna losse my money, please hepl if you have done your house modification, is there any goverment site who has a listing of trust loan companies, thanks
