My family is finally ready to purchase our first house. I’ve done some calculations with mortgage points and it seems that we would have to own the home for just under 7 years before we earn the money back (ignoring time value of money) So I just wanted to see if 7+ years is normal to live in a first home.
average is 5, or 15-20 depending on the study – but I’ve been in mine 21 years and planning on staying =D
