At this time, the government has cracked down so severely on lenders that no legitimate lender will touch you with a poor credit score. Don’t let your desperation lead you to get scammed, I think you are just going to have to wait it out.

It really depends on why your credit score is low. If it’s low because you have defaulted on payments in the past but you are now up to date with your credit arrangements then your file should start to improve. If however you still have current debts that you are behind in paying you would be considered a high risk borrower. Your poor credit may not be so much of a problem if you can put down a reasonable deposit or apply for a mortgage jointly with someone else.
