I lost my job because I have been in and out of the hospital and it has been very hard to find a steady job and I am behind on my mortgage payments now and I need some help. I am a single mother of two and I do not want to lose my home.
Speak with your mortgage company and see if there is anything they maybe able to do. Not sure but if you have been good with payment history then hopefully they could assist.
Or it may be in your best interest to check and see a real estate agent and see what the home is with on the market and sell, and wait to get back on your feet then buy a new home.

There may be assistance programs out there, but most don’t contribute to mortgage payments. Generally, those programs are designed to provide help to those who cannot meet rental payments.
You might consider selling this property and renting until your financial situation improves.
