Has anyone heard of the NACA Mortgage Refinance Program?

What are the Cons with this program, I know the Pros. I have been struggling since my husband was laid off and I am looking for ways to reduce my mortgage and save money. Please help me figure this out!

I have, my daughter’s in the process of buying a house with their help.
There are no cons that I know of – except you must reside in the home so be sure you like it and the area.

  1. 1 It’s a non profit so you need to keep your appointments, and stay on top of your paper work with them or you might get lost in the shuffle. #2 You have to attend a several hour work shop on a Saturday to get started. Many people get lazy on this and never go. #3 The program is not available in all states yet. You can view this info on the website. #4This really Isn’t as bad as it sounds, but they require you to attend up to 5 events or refer to them 5 people a year. A volunteering type program may replace this. I’ve also heard that they are slow. BUT… as far as I can tell, the pros outweigh the cons, and it’s well worth everything it takes to get closed. https://www.naca.com/program/homesaveProgram.jsp?language=null
