A company is offering a $30k continuous base, paid training and full benefits on day one. Should I enter this industry or is too late.
Being a mortgage lender is not the same as it was 5-7 years ago. It is good that they give you a base a lot of mortgage brokers work purely on commision. Do they provide leads for if so how many other commpanies are getting the same leads there are alot of mortgage brokers out there. what % are they paying you out on the loan? Are they a direct lender or a broker shop? These are all important questions to keep in mind. Right now it is extremely hard to get business by just cold calling it is almost necessary to have a referral source in order to see any real money. Best of luck to you.
